The event just keeps on getting better!

It has been confirmed that after the ballroom dinner and performances at Putrajaya, we will be having an after party at Cyberjayas' very own, The Studio Cyberjaya! There will be performances by smashing local bands and cool D.J's.

The STUDIO is a bar cum an art gallery cum a 'creative space'.
WHERE TO FIND the STUDIO:
It is located near Petronas petrol station, a few units down the road from Sri Penang Restaurant in Cyberjaya. Look for some funky looking wall design on the first floor.

Drum circle,
Drum circle is a group of people playing hand-drums and percussion.

Dichi Michi,
Dichi Michi performed at our fund raising event, Creative Night and wooed the crowed over that night!

Khairul Anuar & Khairul Johari,
Better known as K.A and K.J, these talented boys are our very own students. They have performed for numerous MMU events and have been well known with their visual installation performance.

Caprice,
Caprice is a Malaysian artist/performer who has worked and performed with Malaysias very own Dayang Nurfaizah, DJ Uno, Joe Flizzow, Touchess and Ruffedge to name a few. Come early 2008, he started his own record label and production house and have been independently hustling and working really hard to entertain us ever since! He has been rocking air waves across Asia.



We will also be having a special performance by the committee.

Creative Night & Kamikustik!!

Good News guys! We'll be collaborating with Kamikustik for the Creative Night Event! Wait for it! The event will be held at the Faculty Of Creative Multimedia Set & Background Studio on Wednesday, 3rd of March 2010. The Event will start at 7.30 PM. So don't miss it. There will be 10 performances that night. So do come and we'll have some fun! Time to kick some ass!

The price for one ticket is RM 7 and we will start selling them this Monday( 1st March 2010 ) at HB3 canteen. so keep an eye out for our booth to get your hands on the tickets.

Creative Night

Just an update before the real event starts. We are going to make a mini Fund Raising Concert that is on 10th February 2010. Which is on Wednesday. The Fund Raising Concert or what we called "Creative Night" will start at 8.00 PM sharp! It will be held at the Set and Background Studio at the Ground Floor of the FCM's building. The entrance fee is only RM7! So don't miss it!

We've included 2 local bands, 4 bands from MMU, and 1 acoustic performance. This are the the bands who will be playing that night.

Hello! Is This The Band?

Hello! Is This The Band? is a band from our own Multimedia University. They've been together since late 2007. The current lineup is Diana (Vocals), Fahmy (Guitar), Boy (Guitar), Hidhir (bass) and Shahfeeq (Drums). Their music is influenced by Paramore, Anberlin, Boys Like Girls and many more. Freeloaders Inc

Freeloaders Inc consists of 5 young men that is Shazwan M. Kamal (Vocals), Ilham Abadi (Guitar), Vincent Loong (Guitar), Jeremy Hu (Bass) and Afiq Hakim (Drums). Slawboyz

Slawboyz is no longer a stranger in MMU. They've played in many events in MMU before such as Kamikustik and Music for Gaza. These Indonesian students have proven that they are a band that can play music very well. From a mellow type of songs to a happy type of songs which can make the audience relax and sing along with them.

Nevada

Nevada is a four piece band from Cyberjaya. Their influence is more on Sum 41, Blink 182, All Time Low and many more. These four young men have played in several shows around KL before. Diandra Arjunaidi

A performing arts student which currently pursuing Diploma in Performing Arts at Sunway University College. She played some cover of Katey Perry and the result is not even disappointing. Surely we'll enjoy her performance.

Definitely Maybe

The name was taken from the romantic comedy movie called Definitely Maybe. They are a five pice band from Kajang, who played their music like Hey Monday, Paramore, Four Year Strong, New Found Glory, Jet and Renfu. Dichi Michi

Dichi Michi is a five piece band from Kajang. A Pop Punk, Powerpop, Happy Hardcore type of band. Currently their hit single called "Fine Without You" is in the Hitz.FM chart. And the other single called "Realiti dan Fantasi" is also on other radio such as Suria.FM, Hot.FM and X.FM. The band's influence is Four Year Strong, Fall Out Boy, The Get Up Kids, We The Kings, All Time Low and many more. They have played many shows around KL and also outside of KL. The Faculty Of Creative Multimedia integrates academic study with extensive creative digital technology production work. This proven approach has established multimedia university at the forefront of Malaysian creative multimedia education.

The Annual Creative Multimedia Awards(ACMA) was formally known as The Annual Creative Academic Awards(ACAA). After much consideration it is now known as ACMA. ACMA is an event organized by the Creative Multimedia Club to honor the best students and lecturers in the Faculty of Creative Multimedia from Alpha to Delta in one magical and spectacular night.
